Screening of the Australian documentary “The Puppy Mill” portraying how increased demands for specific breeds led to inhumane treatment at 7pm. |

Main Gallery: RIGO 23: The Tate Wikikuwa Museum: North America 2024. San Francisco based artist Rigo 23 is known for his highly political site-specific work. The exhibition title refers specifically to Leonard Peltier’s given name in Lakota. Window Projects: Tom Huff, the local Native American artist, presents an installation relating to Peltier. Artists will be present at the Opening Reception. (And and Nov. 20th, 3-6pm: A screening of Incident at Oglala, followed by a roundtable discussion on Leonard Peltier & the Civil Rights movement.) |
